As part of Recreation Surrey's mission to build healthy communities where all people can be active and engaged, a new ice complex will be developed in Cloverdale's diverse and growing community. Completion of the new Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex is estimated for summer 2020. 

Designed in partnership with Taylor Kurtz Architecture + Design Inc. and Rounthwaite Dick and Hadley Architects Inc., the new Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex will:

  • create welcoming arenas with gathering spaces
  • respond to emerging trends in arenas
  • create venue opportunities on site to support large events
  • increase recreation opportunities for ice and dry floor seasons
  • benefit minor sport hockey groups
  • alleviate waitlists for Learn to Skate programs 

Site Location

The new Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex is located within the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, south of 64 Avenue and just east of 177B Street.

  • community meeting spaces
  • food services
  • outdoor activity areas
