School Group Tours

This program introduces students to local government and offers the opportunity to experience firsthand what happens at City Hall. During this program, students are led through a tour of City Hall to see where some of Surrey’s important decisions are made, as well as participate in activities to learn about the role and responsibilities of local government.

City Hall tours are offered to all grades and can be tailored for special and interests and groups.

Class groups require 1:15 adult:student ratio. The tour will visit active areas of City Hall, so students need to be prepared to be respectful of staff and patrons who are working and conducting business.

This tour is best suited for groups and classes at the secondary (Grade 10 – 12) and post-secondary level. The maximum capacity is 36 people. The tour is approximately 2 hours and can be schedule alone or alongside a City Hall tour.
